Gordon and Jennifer were great. Very friendly and full of recommendations. The cabin was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. They are putting in a swimming pool that should be done soon. We wish it was done for our trip. Gordon has big plans for the pool. I guess we will have to go back. There is a brand new pond dug. Just need some rain to fill it up. We loved seeing the deer right near the cabin. At one point we counted 10 deer at one time.

Al’s hideaway is an absolutely wonderful place. This is our second stay and we were desperate to extend it because we didn’t want to leave. The cabins are super clean, bright, and cozy, with everything you could need and then some. Gordon (owner/host) is so helpful and friendly, we felt very welcome. We had a blast exploring, enjoying the pool and making food in the kitchen. And it was amazing to watch the deer come within feet of our cabin in the evening when we relaxed on the porch. We will be back very soon!

Enjoying the poolExploring!Very poor photo of some of the deer that came around

Al's Hideway was cozy and tucked away quietly in the rolling hills. The cabin's reminded me of tiny homes that provide you exactly what you need and freedom to roam the property's land. Enjoyed the area and cabin stay. We brought our 5 year old and he couldn't get enough of it.
