A nice 30 acre property. Fair amount of undeveloped space for low key camping with mostly tall grass and trees. The sky was dark and full of stars. Pretty much exactly what I needed for the weekend!

Great stargazing here! This is a frame from one of my 4K sequences shot here. Check out my Two Brothers 4K YouTube channel for more content like it!

Super rustic. Find your own place to camp. Nothing direct about where to go. No swimming. Pretty land. Pretty flowers. Nice birds. No frills camping.

Great place to stay in the middle of the hill country. Of all the times I have traveled to this part of the state, I never ran across the hidden gem of Castell before. The property itself has plenty of options to set up. Janice was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

We got a visitor while packing up camp! The RV site was a small challenge backing in, but its manageable. Wildflowers are in bloom! The road leading up to the ranch

On a week tour of texas state parks with two kiddos and a dog. Decide to try Aat the ranch because the state parks in the area were booked and it was a good halfway point between where we were going. Pretty remote location but we made it with a minivan towing a popup camper. Never met the host but we met their puppy much to the delight of the kids. Site was a little tricky to back into and took several tries. I thought it had 30amp hookup but i only saw 110 outlets. Water was fine but you have to get the camper or rv in just the right spot because the electic and water are not in the same spot. Thankfully had some rain to cool things off at night but without 30amp couldnt run AC. Nice waking up to the sound of birds all around you.
