Welcome to 5D Ranch in Navasota, TX. We’re located 60 miles North of Houston and just 2.5 hours from Austin. We have over 14 miles of trails, 2 fishing ponds, 4 boats that are free to use, and great views of the night sky. With 24 unique campsites, we’re sure to have one that fits your needs! We also can provide rentals of camping essentials, a S'mores package and we offer a meet the ponies session that can be scheduled upon your arrival. We can’t wait to host you! Site 19 is very secluded. Great for the Jeep campers with the fully contained tents or just the folks that want total privacy. Its a great spot for small or very large groups. Lots of trees and has a big open area. Lots of options for setting up your camp. Multiple table/spools and fire ring are available. This site is also very close to the large lake. This site will accommodate an RV however contact me before booking to verify if your RV will fit.

Site 10 is a very private and spacious site. You will be totally surrounded by dense woods. The lane back to the campsite off the main trail is at least 200 yards. This site is not suitable for an RV due to the narrow lane: it could get scratched by the trees; however, a very small pop-up type campers will be fine as long as the driver knows how to back and turn around a trailer. Keep in mind this site is dense woods so you wont get any breeze but will be warm in the winter months. If you want privacy however this is the site for you. You will definitely get that long way from the world feeling here and still just a short walk to the restroom. This site will NOT accommodate any RV. While the site is very roomy. This site will also accommodate a large group however only 3 cars are allowed to park at site. All other cars will have to park about 40 yards away. This site has a fire ring, a fire pit and 1 large and 4 small table/spools. NO RVS.

Absolutely lovely! This family is the definition of hospitality! They go out of their way to make your stay special. I realized we did not have enough firewood, and this sweet family hand delivered some logs to our campsite! Gorgeous and peaceful property. The camp sites are spread out, even though other campers were there, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. My kids asked if we could come back every year, now we have a new family tradition! Some very special lifelong family memories were made during our stay!

This is my first time camping (site 6) and this place absolutely has made me want to do camping much more frequently. This site provided a blend of cozying up in the wood but still has a nice and open area. The view and nature are beautiful but still has the convenience of the restroom of your home. The lake was nice to do some rowing despite the hot days of Texas.

Site 19 was such a great spot. Walking distance to the lake where you can fish, boating and swimming. It has so much room for you and family. I loved the area and great shading that allows wind and great campfire scenery. We ended our stay with some bird watching and caught some Cardinals and Blue Jays

Absolutely beautiful property. The campsite we stayed at for the weekend was exactly how it was described online- we loved it!! Plenty of fantastic hiking trails and a little late to go for a swim or take one of the canoes out in. Definitely come back!!

It's a beautiful campground with camping spots designed for those who like wide open spaces and others for those who enjoy secluded spots. You will need to be prepared to not have water at each campsite but it is provided at the check-in area. When we got there, it was pouring rain but within 15 minutes after the rain stopped, we were able to get around and set up the tent because the soil is sand and absorbs the water right away.

My friend and I absolutely LOVED everything about 5D Ranch. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted and shown the way to our campsite. They were very welcoming and made sure to make us feel comfortable before heading off. We had an amazing time enjoying the sounds of nature, grilling and sleeping in the woods. We even got to take enjoy the on site ponds with free paddle boats and caught a bunch of fish! I would highly recommend 5D for anyone looking to find a relaxing get away, family time, or with friends! (I was at SITE 11)

We loved 5d! Campsite 9 was very spacious but also secluded. Only a 6 min walk to the bathroom. The tree canopy shielded us from some sprinkles and the hot sun. Trails were beautiful and we really enjoyed fishing in the pond. Nicely maintained land, no trash, and no loud neighbors. Just the great outdoors. Can't wait to come back!

Me and my girlfriend spent the weekend at site 10 on the ranch. Had an amazing time! Camp was quiet and so were the neighbors. Julie was so helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the animals! Trust me, it’s worth it. Something about combing a horses mane hahahaha. Stars, lake and quigley the dog were all amazing experiences. Can’t wait for our next weekend there!

We had an amazing experience at this campsite! Our group consisted of two families with children ranging from 5 to 11 years old, and the ranch was the perfect size for them. The kids had a blast riding their bikes to the lake, fishing from the boats, and paddling around in the boats. The sunsets over the lake were absolutely stunning, and the overall vibe of the site was everything we hoped for. It felt like we were immersed in the forest, surrounded by trees, which made the experience even more magical. The site itself was spotless, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the rural toilet near Site 12. It was equipped with toilet paper, a light with a sensor, and added a level of comfort we weren't expecting. Even the family dog was friendly and welcoming, which was a nice bonus! Julie’s family made the experience even more special. Everyone was incredibly kind, and we enjoyed chatting with them. Eddie, in particular, shared fascinating stories from his wonderfully adventurous life. We’re already looking forward to returning and exploring other sites! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly camping experience.

This is our second trip to 5D ranch. We brought out a small group of kids to celebrate an 11th birthday. Julie was wonderful in introducing us to her horses. Campsite 22 was perfect for our needs. We will be back!
