Magical stay at twin valley ranch
Twin Valley Horse Ranch is an incredible place, and Janice has poured so much love into providing an exceptional experience. The room itself is a work of art -- every detail is amazing and the room has everything you might possibly need (even a jetted tub!)
We arrived after dark and found the space no problem. There are playful cats all over the property (they aren't allowed in the room, but we had a great time playing with them outside!) and we woke up early to join Janice on her rounds with the animals. So fun! We fed horses, pigs, cats and goats, and got to see the beautiful ranch as the sun rose -- what amazing opportunity to learn from Janice!
Can't wait to return!
Such an unforgettable experience!
Our stay in the pioneer room was wonderful. I had pretty high expectations, and I have to say this stay exceeded my expectations. Our host Janice was amazing. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. It was nice because we were welcome to roam around and relax, or we could be involved and help and be hands on with the animals. We helped Marcus feed the animals and he was so great to tell us about all of the animals and how things work around the farm. It really made the experience. If you have the chance to help feed the animals I would highly recommend it. The space was clean and the temperature was very comfortable. This is definitely not a tourist type visit. You get the chance to be a guest on Janice’s farm and have a real hands on experience. We did see other friendly campers, but felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We also went on a trail ride. We were able to help care for the horse before our ride. It was nice to bond with the horse and get to know them a bit before the ride. The trail ride was wonderful and although I was very nervous, Janice calmed my nerves and made it very enjoyable. She gave a lot of much needed instruction and went as slow as we needed. I would love to go on another horseback ride and stay in this cabin again!
