Sheds are unique and cool
I stayed in one of the sheds. It wasn’t quite what I expected but was nice since I had just planned on sleeping in my car since I didn't have a tent, but the shed made a nice sleeping spot.
We booked sites at Cherry Hill Farm because we needed a campground with a tent site for us as well as RV hookups for our friends who were also coming. Carl was awesome! He met us there when we arrived and had a fire already burning, gave us a tour of the place, and allowed us to stay by the shed area (which is WAY more beautiful due to it being in the woods and more private if not many other campers are there. The view from shed 6 is awesome. I would call them a primitive shelter). He even rose a horse over to our site the next morning so our kids to pet and enjoy. I will say the camping and RV area are more of a field type area near a busier highway and not are private as the map appears on the site. We set up our 2 person back packing tent on top of the sleeping platform area in a shed and it worked out great! The lake is nearby, local state parks and waterfalls! It was beautiful! Would visit again!
Our stay at cherry hill camp was everything we wanted it to be. When we first arrived we though there were not many sites. Thats when we realized you are able to go the hill and find much more private beautiful areas to set up. At the end of " the sheds" area there is a breathtaking clearing with a beautiful sight of the surrounding ridges. Carl was a great host and made sure to come by and welcome us. A big plus for us was the hot showers that were available. There is so mich to do in the area also. I would definately recomend and will be back.
Stayed at tent site #1 which is the best on the property with amazing long-range views of the river and lake. Carl was extremely helpful with preparations and directions, plus my young nieces loved exploring the property and seeing the horses.
