We designed and built our 448 square foot cabin finishing in April of 2018. It sits about 15 feet from our 5 acre lake on our 27 acre farm with a deck that overlooks the beautiful water and glorious sunrises. Water fowl, ducks we’ve raised, herons, snapping turtles, geese and the occasional bald eagle inhabit the surrounding area. The lake has wonderful fishing and you’re guaranteed to catch crappie, bass, blue gill and the occasional cat. Poles and tackle provided and there’s a few compost heaps rich with wigglers for your digging. There are two fire pits and loads of wood available and provided free. The Camp House was built using timber harvested within feet of the cabin and utilized where allowed. Inside there’s all natural light and views in every direction of the lake. A brand new queen size bed with luxurious linens, pillows and comforters, and a sitting couch all are in the bedroom. Lots of books, a separate heater, privacy curtains, a vaulted ceiling and a ceiling fan. The bathroom is a simple toilet, sink and shower and immaculately clean with great soap and towels. The kitchen includes a mini 4 burner stove and oven, a pour over coffee maker, toaster, sink and refrigerator. The living room is outfitted with a two person table top and two tractor chairs and for your reading and relaxing pleasure, we were very fortunate to find two comfy chairs that were home in the Reed House Hotel lobby in Chattanooga. Great art, great books and periodicals and the wrap around porch make the Camp House ultra cool, modern and clean. Finally for you water babies, we have kayaks, a Jon boat, a paddle board and great swimming, so designated by our 12 year old son, Charlie.

A slice of heaven! The hosts thought of everything and the attention to details turned good into exceptional. Perfect porch with a perfect view of a perfect lake with perfect lily pads. Super comfortable bed. Your pup will love this place. My golden loved fishing in the Jon boat. Book this place!

Adorable touches all around, including decorative plants and mementos. Sunrise coffeeSpent most of the time on the deck. When the stars came out we turned off all lights for a magnificent viewFirst mate loved the lake. There was a hose available to clean him off afterwards.
