We love sharing our space. Our bus is a sweet tiny home that we personally built and lived in full-time for 3 years. There is a full kitchen with everything you need to cook meals and make coffee. There are bunk beds and a full bed in the back. All bedding is provided based on how many people you tell us are coming. Inside height of bus is standard 6' high. Our cat and dog lived in the bus with us, so if there are allergies, be aware. There is a mini-split system that will cool and heat the bus. Toilet is composting. It's simply a full house, shower, bathroom and kitchen sink, etc. Our neighborhood is a sweet place to explore with loads of hiking trails, climbing and creeks to explore. That being said, it is a family style neighborhood, so this bus isn't for partying, unless you party inside and quietly. You'll find a sweet coffee shop, super nice grocery store and a few restaurants to choose from all within a few miles. We are happy for you to bring your sweet pets, but please let us know when you book. Dogs must be kept leashed when outside as our cat roams the property. Let us know if you have any questions, happy to answer.Almost 5 years ago we decided to downsize and custom build a school bus into a tiny home. Our family of four plus a dog and cat lived in the bus full time for 3 years. We absolutely adore our bus and are excited to have others experience tiny home living, if just for a few nights. The tiny home suits 2 adults (6ft-6'1ft max) and 2 kids best, but 4 adults are possible. The bus sits at the bottom edge of our 2-acre property where we now reside in a house at the top of the hill. Just up the street (less than a mile) is access to all of the mountains amazing rock climbing, hiking and creek play. Just across the street is a ball field with small playground. There's a dog park, coffee shop and wonderful grocery store nearby. It's a great place to stay and enjoy the outdoors nearby or to take on downtown Chattanooga.

Mildly miserable
You aren’t allowed to use the wood stove and the other heater didn’t keep us warm at night. The blankets were also not very warm. I recommend bringing a ground pad and sleeping bag because the beds are uncomfortable and the linens had dog and human hair on them. Host said “don’t worry, they are clean, just a few hairs,” and didn’t seem concerned. Bus had a major water leak while we were there. The fire alarm goes off when you cook, we had to open all the windows to have enough ventilation to cook. Hallways are very narrow and difficult for two adults to pass each other. Also the bus is next to a fairly busy road which we weren’t expecting. All in all, we were mildly miserable here. It might have been better in warmer weather with just one person staying!

This trip was so fun and cozy! Thank you for having so many thoughtful things available such as games, blankets, and especially kitchen necessities! It was beautiful on the mountain and we would love to come back to the bus:)

Tiny house skoolie
We stayed two nights in the Skoolie and had an awesome time! It was clean and had all the amenities we could hope for. The heater kept us warm, kitchen was well stocked, and we had plenty of space for two. We were 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and even closer to several trailheads on Signal Mountain.

Jeannette's skoolie was lovely. I was surprised by how spacious it was for a converted bus. It was just what we needed while we explored Chattanooga!

All of the great reviews were right on point! The bus was packed with all the basic supplies someone might need, which made this trip a piece of cake. We were unable to get the oven going, and Taylor came over right after we got home to show us how to get it working! Location is a perfect distance from the busy city, just a short drive to trails and great views! If you visit, I’d definitely suggest the local Pruett’s Market for local finds & easy food for the night.
