Local Vibe: Visit the second oldest town in the county, historic Cross Plains and grab lunch at Thomas Drugs built in 1915. Don't forget to take in the historic Villines Hotel (This pioneering family owned hundreds of acres of farmland in the area, including our farm!).
Or take the 15 minute trip into Kentucky to visit the historic downtown square at Franklin where Johnny Cash married June Carter on March 1, 1968. Enjoy a "brown derby" at the Frosty Freeze (built in 1952) and catch a movie at the Franklin Drive In.
Looking for conveniences: The small town of White House is less than 4 minutes away and plays host to all you need: grocery & liquor stores, restaurants (we recommend locally owned Colorado Grill), urgent care, and dumping facilities. White House also has a great splash pad for young children and a Farmers' Market on Wednesday nights.
Come enjoy our slice of heaven and if you are traveling from afar get the inside scoop on what to see and how to get there from two lifelong Middle Tennesseans.

Perfect weekend escape
We can’t say enough about our stay at Liberty Ridge Farm. This was our first booking on HipCamp and it didn’t disappoint. Our family stayed at site 2, at the bottom end of a beautiful grassy meadow. From our camp site it was just a short walk through the trees to the edge of the creek...an amazingly peaceful spot where our kids spent nearly the entire weekend building dams and ‘water slides’ and skipping loads of perfectly flat river rocks. In the evening, we settled around a beautiful stone fire pit (wood provided) and watched the fireflies buzzing around the meadow. We were even lucky enough to see the occasional satellite and shooting star. Rebekah, our host, was thoughtful and generous, making sure we were settled and content, yet affording the utmost in privacy. Best of all, Liberty Ridge is such an easy drive out of Nashville it’s the perfect spot for a weekend getaway...one we hope to make again very soon.
