A unique work in progress, fascinating hosts. A great vision for what will be. Good value. I’m glad I had the opportunity...definitely not just another campground.

The site is small (3 or 4 sites, I think), and very rustic, but very enjoyable. I missed the turn-off, so Nicole drove out to meet me and led me in on the gravel/dirt road - a bit rough, but mostly level - to the campground. It rained for awhile, but once it stopped I was able to get a nice fire going in one of the two large fire pits, and as I ate my dinner I was serenaded by a whippoorwill/screech owl duet, to a frog accompaniment. I was the only guest, so the solitude was awesome.
They have a very interesting solar sink & showers (3) setup - I would have loved to try it out, but it was late and had rained, so the water would have been cold. The sink had great water pressure, though, so I'm sure the shower is awesome, when it's warm. The composting toilet was clean, as was the entire campground - I definitely enjoyed the experience.

Great stay. I slept with stars overhead and watched the fireflies. It was a hot summer night and the outdoor shower was perfect to refresh before I hit the road. Jim and Nicole are great communicating and met me on arrival.
