Natchez Trace State Park could possibly be the mecca of Tennessee camping grounds. Make the trek, you’re not going to regret it! Bring the horse, bike, and hiking boots to take on the many trails, go for a fish at one (or all!) of the four lakes, and take the boat out for a spin. There’s so much to do, the day is going to just fly by! Don’t be afraid of the dark; let the stars and moon be your night light.

Firefly's all around us at night... the sound of cicadas... beautiful trees.... this is a beautiful place to camp.

Not sure if this was necessarily Campground "12" but it was in Natchez Trace State Park. There were fireflys all around us at night, and the sound of cicadas filled the air. It was a really great campsite and we were on our own! (slightly creepy)In between Memphis and Nashville... the perfect spot to stop for a night!
