Barbra and Jerry were amazing hosts! They were friendly, helpful, and also gave us privacy. The site is at the top of a big hill/mountain, so I would suggest a 4-wheel drive vehicle and/or no trailer. Our minivan couldn’t make it up on its own towing the pop-up camper. But Jerry and crew helped is get to the top! The site is in a beautiful setting, but not as secluded as we initially imagined. You can see their home and a garage, but they are far enough away. There is a shared space around a nice pond with a communal cooking, dishes, and shower bag, to be shared with campers at two other sites on their property. Our stay only overlapped with one camper for a few days, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. And also, very importantly, we were close to many great spots in the Smokies!!

Mountain Soul was so beautiful and relaxing. We had a perfect weekend. The sunflower sight provides wonderful views and sunsets. Barbara goes above and beyond to take care of small details and to make you feel welcome.

Our stay at Mountain Soul was the perfect getaway for my friends and I! The Sunflower Spot was private, well kept, and offered beautiful views especially for sunset. Barbra and Jerry were super friendly and accommodating. The pond and available fishing equipment was definitely a bonus! We had a ton of fun feeding the fish and exploring some of the old logging trails near our campsite. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Jerry and Barbra were very accommodating. There is a public area that has a shower bag, a refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a port a potty, a sink to do dishes in. We stayed in the waterfalls site. It was a great experience and we will be back again next time we come visit the smokies!

Barbra and Jerry were really great hosts. It's amazing that this place is not having the hype I expected. Because it really was every bit secluded and amazing as it is in the pictures. The property is really kept well. The lake was beautiful and the hosts allow you to feed fishes. You can take a stroll uphill too where there is 80 acres and it counts for a good workout.

Barbara & Jerry have a beautiful, peaceful property. We enjoyed our 2 night stay here very much! The little extra things, like water from a hose for washing dishes, the microwave, and the electric burner in the pond house, helped make camping a little easier. We did yoga on the dock in the mornings. We were able to explore the property with our dogs off leash which was so nice for them! We hope to return one day!

My husband even caught a fish! Callie loved laying in the grass at the pond.Great fire pit by the pondMargot loved sunbathing
