The vibe at Moonlight and Fire Flies
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Great way to introduce my niece to farms and camping. We had stars for gazing, electricity, running water and cell service. Ray and his family are great hosts. The cows said hi every morning. The crickets sang us to sleep at night. There was even a baby miniature horse there during our visit.
Lovely people with a great deal of pride in their property and it shows. The camping spots are in a large field. Each has an individual firepit, trash can and picnic table. Some stay shady most of the day, two are not. The property is part of a farm. When I was camping there were cows in the adjacent field (being from Idaho I found this charming!) There are some chicken houses nearby - it did not bother me. Both of these things would have made my vegan sibling uncomfortable- sharing in case others are likeminded. I truly appreciated my host's warm welcome, flexibility, and desire to make my stay exactly what I wanted!
Ray was a wonderful host, he made sure we had everything upon arrival (including shade from the hot weather)! His property has all the amenities our family needed. The campsite was well maintained and beautiful. The central location to outdoor sports and near by cities made for lots of stuff to do.
