Welcome to our 4 acres of serenity! We live on site in our home with our 2 dogs, 1 horse, 2 adorable mini ponies and our barn cat Danny DeVito. Our designated camp site is located in our side yard next to our freestanding garage. The 30 amp RV outlet and city water hookup are right there for convenience. Most of our 4 acres is fenced horse pasture. We live on a narrow dead end street perfect for a morning or evening stroll with other homes on 4+ acre lots, another large horse farm, and fields of cotton and soybeans. We will leave you alone or we are always open to socializing while you stay if we are available. We are also happy to give you local tips for the best restaurants or places to see in Memphis. We are in a country neighborhood but 15 minutes from the conveniences of the Wolfchase Mall area, and only 30 minutes to downtown Memphis. 5 minutes from 385 and 15 minutes from I-40. Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Forest State Park are also 30 minutes away where you can hike, kayak, fish, or horseback ride. Most major cell phone carriers get good reception at our place.

This farm was a beautiful place to stay for our trip to visit relatives in Memphis. The hosts greeted us upon our arrival, even though we didn’t check in until 9 (of course, we made sure to let them know this in advance). We loved going to sleep to the twinkle lights in the yard, and loved waking up to greet the horses. We will definitely be staying here again!
Arrived late at night and left first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the area. Felt very safe with kids and beautiful scenery in the morning when we woke up. Driving in late, it took a few minutes to figure out which house we were going to, but we may have just been tired. Ha. Very easy to communicate with and received quick responses.

Happy to host you all! You’re welcome back anytime!
Julia’s place was wonderful. Her property is beautiful and she and her husband were both so friendly and inviting. They has tennis balls for our dogs to play with and didn’t blink an eye when they were curious to meet her beautiful horse. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stopover on an I40 road trip. Easy to find, easy parking for the RV, and awesome to have an electric hookup. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy the fire pit setup but it was lovely. Nice yard space we were able to use with our toddler in the morning to burn off some energy before getting back on the road. Fun to watch the ponies.
