The vibe at Holliday Hide Away
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This cozy cabin is a perfect retreat for a couple or anyone looking to get away for a while. Plumbing, wood stove, kitchen, and AC make this property a comfy stay but the TV with VCR/DVD player, pool table, and pinball game make this more of a glamping retreat. The owners, who built the cabin out of an old pole barn, are welcoming and accommodating. You'll find recommendations for local restaurants and a copy of the cabin rules on the kitchen table and fresh linens and towels in the bedroom. The dogs on the property are friendly and the grounds are beautiful. You'll definitely enjoy your stay at the Holliday Hideaway.
The Holliday Hide Away was exactly what we needed to end our 2017 and begin our 2018 year on a high note. Deb was amazing, she waited for use to arrive and had the place warmed up for us. Any questions we had she answered.
The Tims Ford State Park is near by and I highly recommend checking it out. We did the midnight hike to ring in the new year. We will be back for another get away in the spring, which Deb told us is beautiful. It was really cold all three nights, but there was plenty of pre chopped fire wood to warm us.
When you stepped outside the door in the early morning there was a sense of calm in the air that I can't quite explain. The 1970's pin ball machine was fun and we enjoyed reading in the little sitting area the most.
If you're feeling the stress of your job or your relationship is a bit strained this is the place to get away and get centered. Pull the plug and get a book or two and stop by this place. It is worth it!
