We are at the top of a ridge in our small no-stop-light town. We have wonderful views of the stars on a clear night, a fire ring, and a private level area for one or multiple tents, pop-ups, or trailers. The campsite and fire pit are set back from the house and private, water is available from a tap on the exterior of the main house. This is the only site on the property, not a campground, so you won't have any neighbors other than the main house.
The Silver Point area is beautiful and conveniently located to many natural areas such as the Caney Fork River, Center Hill Lake, Edgar Evins State Park, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Fall Creek Falls, Dale Hollow Lake, and more. We are happy to help you find some great spots to swim, fish, hike, or float. We are literally right up the road from the river where there are multiple canoe/kayak rental locations and put-ins, great places to wade into the river to fish, we go a lot.
As well as natural wonders the area is home to many artists and craftspeople, many of which have open studio hours for visitors. As artists, many of these people are our friends and neighbors and we can guide you to other glass artists, fibers artists, wood-workers, etc.. We are also, 7 miles from the Appalachian Center for Craft which houses studios in glass, ceramics, jewelry making, blacksmithing, wood-working, and fibers. The Center for Craft is open year round to visitors, and has a gallery store and cafe.
All the proceeds from this listing will go towards further developing our glass studio, creating hiking trails on our woods, and farming. We have raised chickens and pigs and hope to raise cattle, chickens and pigs on this location in the near future. Thank you so much for camping with us!

The vibe at Artist's Hilltop Camp
What a great experience! The property was beautiful and right down the road from a floatable river and a state park with an awesome lake. The campsite itself had a great fire pit and was an amazing place to see the stars. Andrew and Jenny were awesome hosts, very easy to stay in contact with and provided us with everything we could have needed and more. There was only two of us but this site could easily fit a large group. I would definitely recommend staying here!
