Veronica was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. First of all this is not a campsite with all facilities and frills this is a boondock in a well kept field on the owner's land that is a short walk from the historic center of Red Boiling Point and next to a clean, pleasant creek. Perfect for families that are used to camping, Veronica has three young children who our kids loved playing with. We went to see the total eclipse and had a perfect location for the viewing.

A very friendly hostess, with a great spot out far from big campgrounds. If you have AT&T, you will lose signal before reaching Red Boiling Springs, be warned! Also, rustic bathrooms. But it's an amazing location to get away. Owner has a few dogs, that bark at first, but are very friendly! Also a perk, if you're camping with a UAV, there aren't airports for miles!! 5 stars, since she was very up front about cell phone signal and the bathroom situation, I came prepared and nothing was a negative. The local town is very small, bring food and drinks!
