Pitch a tent anywhere on six acres of open meadow at our homestead or find a more secluded spot among the two acres of hardwoods that surround our small pond. The property is frequently visited by deer, turkey, ducks, herons, and other species. Bald Eagles that nest along the nearby Hiwassee River have been seen flying over the property. Just down the road from the location of the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival, the campsite has an abundance of cranes during the winter months through early Spring. On any given night coyotes and owls can be heard in the distance.
Be advised that some of the neighbors do have dogs that bark from time to time and my Rooster(s) are sure to sound off before the sun comes up.
