Secluded and minutes from the pavement and highway 27. This off the grid site has it all. Creeks swimming holes and the still mountain air. If you want a wonderful site here it is. We have road repairs in some spots going on and may be best for a SUV and or 4WD at this point in time for access.

Great experience overall! The walk to the campsite is a little ways from the parking area so pack accordingly. Worth the walk for the privacy. The water in the swimming hole was a little shallow and rocky so bring some water shoes. Host was very professional and friendly. Went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (we owe him a can of much needed tick repellent). We enjoyed so much that we have already booked our next stay.

Thank you for the review. We will get some of the creek dammed up to raise the water level for the swimming holes. We hope you come back soon.

Glenn's campsite was a wooded creekside oasis that we had all to ourselves the entire weekend. It was private, comfortable, and absolutely beautiful! We came here during the first weekend of October, so sadly we could not swim in the creek, but it was still so fun to explore the grounds and meander around in the creek bed. We'd definitely like to return in the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful swimming holes!

One thing to note is that this campsite sits on a property that ends at an off-grid community, so you may hear people from time to time, but we never saw or ran into anyone else other than Steve (the gentlemen who works with Glenn to help upkeep the campsite) who was there to meet us, and he was as friendly as could be. Glenn and Steve also made sure that we had some firewood for a nominal fee to get us started, which was a huge help!

As a host, Glenn was accommodating, quick to reply, flexible, and very friendly. From the sounds of it, he has plans to continue growing this campsite and even adding glamping down the road. We loved our stay and look forward to camping here again in the future! Thank you Glenn and Steve!
