Our working 130 acre grass-fed cattle and goat ranch offers a unique opportunity to see baby goats in the spring, goats being milked, goat milk soap being made (available for sale as well), wild blackberry picking in July and August, or just unplug and reconnect to nature on the "wild side" of the farm where you can find views with no man made structure visible.

We stayed twice this month and both sites were great - scenic, clean, private. It’s what we were looking for. Kathi was a great host - very accommodating and easy to work with. Recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kathi's propety! It's a big working 130 acre working farm with goats, pigs, cows, and chickens in the beautiful hills. Upon arrival, Kathi drove us around and pointed everything out, including multiple camping spots we could choose from. Her enthusiasm for all of the projects they were working on there and to have visitors to the farm was contagious. All of the tent sites were private, and we chose a site on top of a hill. Nice breeze and plenty of firewood to collect nearby. It was fun to explore the area by day and interact with the animals, although Kathi also offered to bring them to different pastures if we didn't want to hear livestock while we camped. We hope to go back soon and would definitely recommend the location to future guests! Only 1hr outside of Nashville but still totally removed from development.

We had such a good stay at FarFar Away Farms! Kathi was super helpful and responsive. She gave us a tour of her amazing farm and let us choose a campsite. We chose our site for the AMAZING views. It was already equipped with firewood and somewhat fenced in which was great for our dog. During our stay we got to see deer, turkeys, hogs, goats, and a barn full of puppies! It was just what we were looking for and we will definitely be back!

Could not have asked for a better, more beautiful place to camp! Kathi was so helpful in showing us around and telling us all about the property — great trails and views everywhere. Our site was tranquil, private, and perfect for our group of four (plus dog who loved the wide open space). Will definitely be back!

Kathi was a wonderful host and her campsite is perfect. We had a large group and comfortably fit five tents in the space. Walking around looking at the goats, pigs, and cows was really fun. I highly recommend this campsite!

My husband and I are dabbling into the camping lifestyle, this was our first camping trip together. We had the best time with the most hospitable host!
