Description

On your drive out to Chilhowee Recreation Area, stop at one of the many scenic overlooks for stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Once you arrive at the campground, you can choose between sites with electric hookups, RV sites, and tent-only sites. There are 25 miles of hiking and biking trails in the recreation area, including a 1.5 mile trail out to Benton Falls—a 65-feet tall waterfall. The campground sits near the 7-acre McKamy Lake, which is popular for swimming, fishing, and boating.
