A four acre plot bordered by Burnett Creek. We have multiple creekside, primitive camping spots that are shaded by trees, and adaptable to multiple groups. Our fire pit is carved out in the center of a meadow of thriving wildflowers and makes a communal space to meet fellow campers - If you want. From the meadow to the creek, life swarms all around. Bees, Butterfly Bush, Milkweed, Otters and more enrich the environment. Potable water and a portable bathroom are on site.

The site itself is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of back country camping without the 25 mile hike in, a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or a an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveller. 🦋 🐛 🌈 🚲 ⛺️Best suited for van, car, bike, tent, and hammock camping without the frills of a KOA.

During the busy season there are a handful of bookings for this area and in the offseason usually more one at a time. Bookings are for 2 people each to keep it from feeling crowded. If you have more than 2 you will need to book multiple sites.

Kat was super responsive to all our questions and was extremely nice. The upkeep of the area was great and the area was spread out well enough to not ever have to interact with other campers if you don’t want to. I was pleasantly surprised to find potable water and a very clean port-o-potty on the grounds. I’ll definitely be back.

The camp grounds were a perfect area to spend an evening in the Knoxville area. Nesteled along a creek, we found some peace and quiet after a long day's drive. Would recommend to others.

Glorious space on a creek just 2 miles from hiking and mountain biking. The farm is an open field, maybe 5 acres with a water source and creek. There are about 5 campsites. Host responds immediately and is very helpful!

Thanks so much for a great camp so close to Knoxvile. Kat is the perfect host with a beautiful meadow and creek . I'm from here and never heard about Brown bike farms. To he honest, I had low expectations given the price and location. I was very wrong . Primitive creekside camping is my all time favorite campground now. I would definitely recommend anybody to visit.
