This is a special event offer for attendees of the 2019 NSS Convention and Tennessee Cavers event being held in Cookeville on June 17-21st. We have blocked out the calendar specifically for this group between Saturday June 15th through Sunday June 23rd. We have set the limit at 10 reservations of up to 4 people and 1 vehicle per group. Conveniently located less than 10 miles from the Putnam County Fair Grounds, the host family lives in a house at the entrance of the property, while the remainder of acreage is preserved for a nature enthusiasts dream come true. All of the photos are taken on site. Primitive campsite options and groomed trails will ensure your visit is pleasant and adventurous. You will select your own spot among numerous options! A short list of what to expect includes:
- Spacious, level, shady, leaf-bed PRIMITIVE campsites
- 360 degree views of relaxing nature
- Multiple spring-fed creeks & streams
- Ledge waterfall (about a 20 foot drop)
- Rock shelter formation
- Wide open pastures for star gazing
- Old forests for ample shade or hammock hanging
You are welcome to camp with a tent, vehicle, small vintage camper, hammock tent, or pop-up camper, but it does depend on weather conditions. Extra rainy weather requires walking access only. You must provide your own water and camping toilet (we suggest a wag bag or similar system). You can refill your drinking water containers at the exterior spigot at the main house, it is already filtered for your convenience.
There is a COMFORT STATION with an outdoor shower stall available for hanging your own solar shower bag. The comfort station also includes a changing room which doubles as a private place to use your portable camping toilet, a rain barrel for refilling your shower bag or washing your hands (not potable), and a few other extras to help make your stay a bit more comfortable. All of this is centrally located between all types of camping that we offer at Belle & Beau Acres.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at for the 2017 eclipse. The property is beautiful with a small waterfall, a beautiful creek, and tons of options for camping. The family was wonderful! They took the time to make sure we found the property and even helped show us the campsite since we arrived after dark.
Christine and David were very attentive and helped us find the best local places to stop by. We hadn't been able to purchase eclipse glasses, but they had planned ahead and had pairs for all of their guests! I had a wonderful time here and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to camp.
