5500 acres hosted by Nicholas F.
ARDROSS is set on 3000 acres of pristine native bush situated at Buckland Tasmania. Only a hour from Hobart and fifteen minutes from the ocean at Orford.
With only 32 sites on such a big area you have a abundance of areas to explore while having complete privacy to relax and unwind.
You have access to 7km of the Brushy Plains Rivulet and a 1000 acres natives reserve. The reserve is full of rare native birds for ornithologists to identify and interesting flora for botanists to name. There is also a hidden rainforest gully full of leeches for bushwalkers to find.
There are plenty of tracks for mountain bike riding with over 30km of gravel roading on this area. No motorbike riding is allowed or hunting.
Follow the map on my listing to show you where your camp site is and areas to explore. There is a nominated guest parking area to the river and reserve at the bottom of site 1. Leave your caravans on your site before heading there.
ARDROSS is only acceptable to 4WD vehicles and high clearance caravans.
Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions in place. No chainsaws are allowed but wood can be collected off the ground.
Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all time. Campers must be fully self contained with their own toilet and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
7 day maximum stay allowed.
