We absolutely LOVED our stay with Jeff on The Good Earth Farm! We were on a road trip and booked last minute and he was there to greet us with cold beers when we arrived! Him and his wife were such kind and hospitable people and have such a beautiful property. In the morning, he welcomed us to gather veggies and fresh raspberries from the farm and eggs from the coop and we made the most delicious breakfast skillet with them! My boyfriend and I plan to make a trip to South Dakota again JUST to stop at the farm.

Nancy and Jeff, nothing to say about them but wonderful hosts! When I first arrived, they greeted me with their two playful dogs as well! After meeting them, and learning more about their place, they went on to offer me any accommodations I may need. They offered a variety of vegetables, eggs, and kept reminding me know that if I needed anything, they would try and fulfill my needs. Their property is a great place, with room for privacy and getting away from everything in the countryside. The lot offered a variety of options for camping, and the farm animals they had were so fun and neat to look at! After meeting them, they walked me around their property to give me ideas for potential campsites, and I was even able to drive down right next to the creek to unload my stuff! It gave me a sense of offroading which I really enjoyed! This was my first time ever using Hipcamp, and I could not be any more pleased with this first experience. I will definitely come back here and would highly recommend anyone else looking for a fun place to get away, and to really enjoy the beautiful stars out in the country!
Absolutely perfect! We stayed at the site out by the creek. No electricity but it was just beautiful! We saw shooting stars and the Neowise comet. It was the perfect place for my boyfriend to propose! Romantic, private and serene! I'm the morning we collected fresh eggs and cooked them on their grill. There were friendly animals and the hosts gave us carrots to feed them and even provided water and firewood. Hosts were there to greet us and make sure we had what we needed. We will absolutely be back! Thank you for a great night!
I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Jeff and Nancy greeted us when we arrived, and showed us all around the property, there were chickens and cats all over. Beautiful property, and they let us take some eggs and vegetables with us, extremely nice. This place was a highlight of our trip.
Jeff + Nancy were awesome! We ended up not camping overnight due to bad weather. We gave them short notice and they even let us come pick our own vegetables and take a tour of the farm the next day.
We are planning to come camp a few weeks from now and really loved our experience from start to finish. I highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely lovely is the best way to describe the entire experience! From our hosts, to the animals, the garden, and the property. It was the perfect spot to relax and hang out in the evening, yet close enough to town to go explore. Our host welcomed us and let us choose a spot to set camp. We picked one that allowed for one bunkend to look out over the chickens and the other over the meadow where the mini donkeys and pigs hang out. While we started to set camp Jeff offered to start a fire in the pit. He quickly had a bon fire roaring and left us to ourselves. Jeff and Nancy offered to let us pick veggies from their garden and those goodies combined with what we brought made the most delicious breakfast. If we ever have reason to be in that part of South Dakota, we will sure to visit again!

Jeff and Nancy were such kind and considerate hosts. There were several options for pitching our tent, the farm is charming, the organic vegetable garden made for an exceptional breakfast and our children got to play/pet/interact with some gentle farm animals which are kept as pets. Would love to go back and spend some more time!
We had a great time here! Cute farm animals, friendly hosts, and we were even welcomed to enjoy their farm fresh eggs and garden vegetables which were delicious! Jeff helped us get a fire going and let us use their grill to cook. Very friendly and accommodating and would highly recommend.
Beautiful farm stay in sioux falls!
We had the most beautiful time at our farm stay in SD! We weren't able to arrive after midnight however Jeff was extremely helpful and accommodating. He even gave us directions for a more scenic route for our road trip! We camped farther back on their property and awoke to a gorgeous sunrise over looking a field of cows, and then visited their pigs, chickens, donkeys and mini pony in the morning, collecting some veggies and eggs to cook up for breakfast! There's also a very nice running trail that goes through the property.
Thanks again!
