Description

Lewis and Clark Recreation Area is one of the most popular outdoor destinations in the state parks system. And it’s no wonder—the campsites and cabins are just steps from the sparkling Lake Yankton, where you can launch your boat, swim in the cool waters, or stretch out on the sandy beach. A seven-mile hiking and biking trail runs along the lakeshore and passes right through the campground. There is also a disc golf range and archery park here. Oh, did we mention the restaurant and convenience store just a short walk from your campsite? Convenient, indeed!
