Plenty Star Ranch, owned by Jack and Isa Kirk is located 9.5 miles South of Custer and 2 miles North of Pringle along Hwy 385, offers 4 full RV sites, next to tent sites (listed under Camping in the Black Hills) and a rustic camping cabin (listed under Rustic Cabin in the Black Hills).
A couple of ponds occupied by our resident Canada Geese border the paved driveway and lead to huge old willow trees under which the hook-ups and dump station are located, easy in and out grass sites with, 30, 50 and 2 x 100 amp outlets, (drinking) water and sewer.
Nestled in National Forest, and right along the 110 mile Mickelson Trail from Deadwood to Edgemont, you will have plenty of hiking and biking options.
The Black Hills offer numerous attractions such as Crazy Horse Monument and Mount Rushmore Monument, all within a couple of hours drive maximum. To the north you find the nearest town of Custer and Custer State Park (30 minutes form us), and to the south the Hwy leads to Pringle and through Wind Cave National Park (15 minutes from us) towards the town of Hot Springs (24 miles South) with numerous attractions to visit.
Sit around the camp fire in the evenings and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on our porch in the morning.
Explore Jack's Custom Barn Wood Frames & Furniture shop and Isa's art work and Black Hills Flower Essences products or if you are so inclined, plan in a little time for an intuitive Tarot reading (look for the coupon in your Welcome Bag) or an Essential Touch healing with her.
Please let us know if you expect to arrive after 7 pm.
Our RV camp sites as well as the tent sites and the camping log cabin are open May through October. An exception can be made for long-term (monthly or annual) RV camp sites or the cabin.
