Quiet 11 acre Produce/hobby farm 8 miles south of Interstate 90 and 23 miles west of Sioux Falls. A large garden and several pets including Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Peacocks, and Guinea's. Out back is a small pond frequented by a variety of birds and animals, ducks, geese, hawks, woodpeckers, owls, muskrat, and pheasants to name a few. This pond, while very low right now, has several fish and turtles you can feed.

I currently have 3 site with electricity and water available near the garden. all 3 sites have a 30 amp electrical service and rural water. Wi-fi is available throughout the camp. Sites are space 50 feet apart and each site has a picnic table and firepit with a small amount of firewood included and additional firewood that can be purchased.

I mowed a short walking/hiking/biking nature trail around and through the property that winds around the pond and a small old quarried stone rail road bridge. A great place for a short stroll and to check out some of the wildlife that frequent the pond.

Spring of 2021 will be opening a shower house with 2 full bathrooms to be shared by all guests. in the meantime...There is an outhouse near the dry camping area but if you prefer to rough it a little easier, In the barn loft is a modern toilet and shower along with a full kitchenette including oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, sink, cookware, utensils, and a small pantry with a few seasonings and staples. All to be shared by our guests.

I have a large garden and often have extra produce to share depending on the season, past guests were offered tomato's, peppers, and squash along with farm fresh, free range, eggs all at no charge.

Lake Vermillion State Park is 6 miles away with swimming, fishing and paddling options. Thunder Valley Dragstrip in Marion is 10 miles away with weekend drag-racing. I-90 Speedway (dirt track) is about 20 miles and have 3 classes of stock cars on Saturday nights. The Ortman Chiropractic Clinic in Canistota is 6 miles. Sioux Falls and the Sanford Premier Center is about 25 miles. Great Pheasant hunting in every direction with public hunting area's near by.

Brian was very accommodating. Plenty of room to spread out. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. He is working hard to improve everything and make more sites. We were so lucky to reap the harvest of the end of the season garden! Beautiful tomatoes and peppers, I’m heading home with enough to make salsa. Thanks to Brian!

We decided to try Hipcamp for the first time on our drive between Rapid City and Sioux Falls, SD. This spot seemed convenient and the reviews were great. Little did we know how special this overnight spot would be. Brian greeted us in the dark with a friendly smile and a bag of all the fixings for s’mores. He helped us get set up in his RV spot and we found it easy to navigate our big rig (35ft 5th wheel plus a crew cab long bed truck). He had electric and water that worked perfectly. He had a fire set up ready to go with wood, kindling and water to douse it out.

We woke up to the rooster crows on this lovely little working farm. He gave us fresh eggs for breakfast, offered any veggies that had been picked before winter arrives and even let our son hold newborn pups that had just been born the day before.

A warm, friendly host, a quiet quaint little farm, easy access to I-90 or -I-29, you will not be disappointed in a stop at Brian’s Farm! You have set the bar high - it will be tough finding that kind of service, friendliness and convenience all wrapped up in one!

Uncle B was so friendly! We had a great morning playing with the puppies and kittens and doing the scavenger hunt. We evem had fresh eggs for breakfast and got to feed the chickens. We had electricity for our camper and there was a hose to top off our water tank. Just cant say enough about how nice and welcoming our host was. The barn had a nicely stocked kitchen and bathroom upstairs. Uncle B has lots of plans to make the place even cooler. Hope we can come again some day.

We had a great time exploring the property on our scavenger hunt.My son broke a guitar string and Uncle B gave him an extra set!Super sweet and well behaved dogs visiting our camper.Kittens in the barn

My family and I weren’t planning on stopping close to Sioux Falls but decided to split our driving into two days and I’m so glad we did. Brian was so friendly and helpful. It was the perfect setting, away from the crowd you typically see at RV parks, to have a more private experience. Our kids loved all the animals. I wish we could have had more time to explore the other amenities. I’ll say it again, Brian was great host! Don’t pass this up!

We stopped over for one night on a cross country drive. Brian was very accommodating and welcoming, meeting us at the property and helping us get set up even though we got in late. He even had a fire and s'more stuff ready to go, along with a dozen fresh eggs that really hit the spot the next morning. The tent sites looked fun, and we enjoyed hearing the entrepreneurial plans for the property. Note that the dump station at the closest rest stop on I-90 is closed, but there is one at the truck stop in Sioux Falls.
