Land owned by my grandfather when they first moved from Long Island down to South Carolina. This is a peaceful place with two man made ponds and untouched brush. Fireflies, frogs and hummingbirds live here as does the largest Bay tree in South Carolina!

Mckenzie was very friendly. We ended up leaving much sooner than expected and she was very understanding. We would stay here again if we are in the area. Very nice and quiet.

Kind host. Good location. Yay showe
McKenzie is super welcoming and had a great space located conveniently outside of Columbia. Wasn't the easiest to find at night, but she communicated effectively and helped us out. The bathroom was in top shape and definitely a highlight since most places we've been at don't have showers.

Quaint and accommodating!
McKenzie was super nice. We wished we'd had more time to spend around the cute little fire pit area. Also, the shower's water pressure is AMAZING. Lol.

Starry Pines
McKenzie has set the bar high as our first host. We would totally recommend. The use of a bathroom was a great addition after camping without for a couple days. She gave us our space and also offered use of the property. We were sad that a thunderstorm kept us from stargazing out by the pond, but the property was still beautiful. Plenty of flat places to tent camp. The noise from the road traffic was minimal. We actually felt more secluded here than at state parks.
