Description

Wake up to the gentle call of warblers, step out of your tent and stretch your arms up toward the stoic pines, cook up some bacon on the campfire, surrounded by endless green. That’s a regular morning at Sesqui Campground, where you can choose from standard sites, offering water, electricity, and easy car or RV accessibility, or forego the amenities at Sesqui’s primitive camping area. Just don’t be surprised if you find yourself amidst a throng of Boy Scouts.

check the state parks website for more information, very family friendly, no alcohol. All sorts of boats to rent, fun stuff in the Ranger Station, miles of trails....you forget you're in the state capital!

Small area. Good for younger kids who like hiking and bank fishing. Kinda boring for older kids. Great for retirees.
