There is an operational plant nursery with several green houses and plenty to observe for a passerby. There are boats and paddles available, along with tree stands throughout the property to rest in and observe nature. There are some common areas that have chairs, tables etc, for the most part I keep the area as natural as possible. There are some trails and good spots to setup, it will mostly be you and mother nature.

We had a lovely experience in the woods next to a pretty lake with swans. We pitched our tent and a hammock, had a fire and cooked out. We enjoyed the row boat on the property. It was very quiet and there were no lights from the city or other houses. We would return! A great adventure for our two children.

Wow. Two minutes after turning off the interstate we arrived at Scorpio Lake. The peace and quiet that we experienced were not expected with being that close to the interstate. The camping area is on the other side of the lake from the main entrance. Behind the camping spots are very thick woods with plenty of brush that can be collected for starting a fire. 10/10 would stay at this location again!

Kyle was very welcoming, and forthright about the site! It was very conveniently off of 95, which was great and also a bit unfortunate - we could easily hear the traffic of 95. For a stop-over on our way home it was great! Thank you, Kyle!

Our stay was great! The site is very convenient to get to and we felt safe. We were amazed at how secluded we felt while still being able to hear traffic. We definitely plan to return.
