Puppy Paradise on trout stream
Great hiking spot, but by road
We loved it! Nice little river, good amount of tree cover, and clean. However, if it wasn't for the absolutely awesome hiking within walking distance, I wouldn't stay here again. The site is literally right next to a fairly major road (nothing but a few trees between you and road) that was really busy during the day and had big trucks drive by throughout the night. That said, I'd still recommend it.

Picturesque and noisy
Great campsite very close to river but also very close to road . Don't expect to get a goodnight sleep

Nice Host! Hike Central! Busy road.
Steve was a very nice host. My GPS took me to the wrong location—the gate is hard to find even if you know where you are looking. Steve went out of his way to come and find me. He also had firewood ready!— though I recommend to bring your own in case it rained.
The campsite is right on a busy road, I had to use earplugs to sleep unfortunately the big honkin trucks scared my pups as they blared by at night. I just didn’t expect the road to be such a traveled one.
There is a fence to the road, though it is broken—there are spots where it is flattened to the ground, of course my dogs found it and like to have given me a heart attack. Tied them up after that which was not what my goal.
The creek would be cool in the summer/spring or with a kayak or canoe. I fished, with no luck on my side. My dogs certainly LOVED it (probably contributed to the lack of catch).
The location in reference to many hiking places was wonderful. Short trek and Boom. At Least 8 different hikes to explore. That was cool for me and my two dogs.
