True oasis. Secluded and private site. Our dogs loved exploring the loop around the pond. We also enjoyed taking the rowboat out. Alex was very communicative. Would definitely stay again.

The private Oasis in the forest was spectacular. It's one of the best places that I've been in a very long time we spent a lot of time there during the covid-19 . And we just loved it it's very quiet very easy to get to very private beautiful Lake nice little cabin wonderful Wildlife good fishing. It was me my wife and kids and the dogs we had a 24 foot camper and a tent. I can't say enough good things about the place. Alex the owner is a real cool guy anytime I needed anything he was real real quick to respond to our texts really awesome fella.

This property is beautiful, truly a little wooded Oasis halfway between Charlotte and Columbia. It's very secluded and quiet but only a 15 minute drive from a Food Lion. Neighbors are super friendly but far enough away you won't notice them. Great place for the kids and dogs to explore. The pond is nice, large enough for some good fishing and even a cooling dip on a hot day. The creek is beautiful when it's running and full of crayfish.

Great place for birding! You'll hear whip-poor-wills and chuck-wills-widows all night long and you can spot tons of other buyers species lured in by the water and wild blackberries.

Alex is a great guy, down-to-earth, friendly, accessible and helpful. Overall our stay was delightful. We couldn't recommend it more.

This place truly is a little wooded Oasis hidden between Charlotte and Columbia. It's secluded and quiet but only a 15 minute drive from a Food Lion. There's lots of wildlife and fauna and the large pond is great for fishing and even a cool dip on a hot day. Lots of space for the kids and dogs to explore. The stream is really nice when it's running and full of crayfish. The neighbors are far enough away that you won't even notice they're there but they're super nice if you do stop on your way in to say hello. There's also a clearing which offers impressive stargazing.

For birding enthusiast you'll hear whip-poor-wills and chuck-wills-widows all night long. You'll spot many other species which are lured in by the pines, water and berry bushes.

Alex is a great host. He's friendly, accessible, helpful and accommodating.

This spot exceeded our expectations. The place was beautiful and really private. There was a nice little dock that we were able to fish from and the bonfire pit was perfect. Alex replied to any messages immediately. This was our first time using Hipcamp and it definitely set the bar high.

Quick and easy communication from the host. Kids had a great time walking the area and fishing. Site was fairly level and had a nice pad set up for a tent and trees for a hammock. There are chickens and a rooste,r so just be aware if that's not your thing, but other than the rooster and I not agreeing on what time sunrise is they kept to themselves.

My kids and I had an amazing time! Our camp site was perfect and just as described. We had fun exploring the woods, catching frogs and walking in the creek. Alex was very prompt to answer our questions and give us any information we needed. We are definitely returning!!

Making s’mores! We had a blast! Enough room on the grill to cook a big breakfast! Exploring the creek
