The Modern Harvest Farm was a great spot to explore and learn about
the art of farming in a sustainable manner. The hosts were extremely
informative, and after a tour of the land I was much more educated on
the functions and importance of sustainable farming. This area has
three to four main locations for camping, but there are many available
options to set up camp in the woods or along the trails. Complete with
some friendly chickens and historical farm equipment, this place is
ideal for a road trip to South Carolina.

The main entrance to the farm. Easy to spot from the road!Modern Harvest FarmsThe pond site. A beautiful and secluded patch of flat land next to a quiet pond. The barnyard. A nice area to pitch a tent or park your car.

We stayed in campsite 4- the open pasture area. It was pretty and easy to navigate, and nice if you're looking for a spot with little human traffic. Wear good shoes, though, there are plenty of brambles and anthills back there. Tommy was a good host, and it was nice to be able to use the farmhouse for its kitchen and bathroom. Thanks for letting us stay!

We had a medium sized group visit Modern Harvest Farms to see the eclipse and Tommy was a great host. The farm is a very cool place with lots to learn about, as well as to just wander around. It's a laid-back and informal setting and very dog-friendly.
