About Man Cave RV Camp + Hookups
ManCave camping is located out in the country about four miles from the small town of Ridgeland S.C. The property is two acres of large live oak trees of which 1 3/4 of it is fenced in. We are pet friendly and we rescue Great Dane's. When we have guests we walk out dogs on a leash so you won't be disturbed. We have two camping area's, the first one accepts both tents or small R.V.'s. This one is located in front of the house next to a small pond with ducks to keep you amused. This area has electric, running well water, septic tank for R.V. use,and a picnic table. The second is a more rustic site located at the back of the property in 1/4 acre wooded area. This location is not fenced in nor does it have electric or water. Both sites have an enclosed porta potty, garbage can,and fireplace. Motorcyclists are more than welcome, there is a bike shop on property and a car port to park your bikes under. We also have tent, kayak, canoe, and bicycle rental. The vibe at Man Cave RV Camp + Hookups
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This was a pleasant enough spot to stay for the night as we made our way to the coast. Montanna, the host, was helpful and accommodating, giving us full run of the place, including the horseshoe pit out back and the pool table inside the “man cave.” Georgia, the older Great Dane, was a total sweetheart, wandering over for some head scratches (we’re dog lovers, and encouraged the host to let the dogs off leash in the yard during our stay). The RV hookups were great and allowed us to fill up our freshwater tank with good-quality water – no sulfur smell, like in some places. No trouble navigating our 22’ Airstream down the driveway and through the campsite; didn't need to back up or turn around - a huge plus!
