Pitch your tent down by our gold producing creek, spend sometime panning for gold. Explore the local National and State Forests. You can go to the local lakes and canoe, kayak, ride bikes, or just go hiking. We are a working fiber farm and if you want to visit the Angora goats or learn any aspect what we do with them or their mohair, it can be arranged. We are rural, but within the town limits. There is a rough road down to the creek, so if you don't have a 4X4 you may want to walk down to camping area and leave your car by the road or we can arrange for you to park your car nearer to our home. You will feel fairly isolated, yet close town. We are approximately 3 hours from Charlotte, Charleston, Atlanta, Asheville, Savannah,  and Myrtle Beach, so this a great base for exploring the south eastern US.
