Enjoy your privacy on our 40+ acres of farm and forest trails. 10 minutes from groceries and gas, 15 minutes from a small town. We are surrounded by farmland and forest. There are a few different attractions 5 - 10 minutes away (lake Robinson) it has a boat landing and plenty of fish, (Carolina Sandhills national wildlife refuge)it has plenty of hiking trails and roads perfect for bicycling, small mountain called (Sugarloaf Mountain)perfect for hiking. Local peach/strawberry farm (McLeod farm) with produce/gift shop they have pick your own strawberries in the spring and early summer there is also a restaurant called (Big's) great hamburgers and fries. We have a hidden Creek that is fun to hike to by way of a trail, or tent camp near by. Small pond for fishing, plenty of room for hiking and bike riding ( grassy, sandy, rolling hills). Beautiful hills to camp on and watch an unobstructed view of the Carolina sunset and sunrise that peak through wooded acreage. Choose a tent camp location or pull/drive your RV/camper right near our cow pasture and watch the cows graze. Fresh drinking water access from the main house (our grey log home), privacy tee pee with a portable potty. Pick wild blackberries in early summer and wild grapes in late summer early fall, and we may share some of our home made jellies with you. We welcome family groups year round. At night enjoy the sounds of wildlife while watching the highly visible twinkling stars and tracing the many constellations and if lucky see a shooting star or two.

We absolutely loved it. Our site had a fire pit full ready to go, with more firewood stacked for later. A grill and a picnic table. We met our host and she showed us around and lead us to our site! On Saturday they brought us peach smoothies and some squash and Sunday morning we were brought muffins and homemade jam...delicious! The stars were amazing! Thanks Dennis and Melissa for a awesome weekend!

Hurricane Florence messed with our travel but I have to say Dennis and Melissa are great hosts. They are very fast and good communicators. A pleasure to make plans with.

Hidden Creek Farm was amazing! The campsite was clean, well laid out, and had a great view. My family arrived on Saturday evening to find a fire pit stocked with kindling, tiki torches ready to light, and a tent pad waiting for our tent. Our hosts visited with us and were gracious in showing us all the amenities. Sunday morning we were greeted with homemade biscuits, eggs, bacon, and jam. Best breakfast ever! My family enjoyed the land as we walked around and naps in the sunshine were incredible. Words cannot express how much we loved camping at Hidden Creek Farm. We will definitely be back!

Our first experience with hip camp. Couldn’t have been better! Dennis and Melissa have a secluded, private, beautiful set up that gives you that remote feeling but also feels a lot like “glamping”. The hosts responded so quickly before our stay AND during our visit (we asked a lot of questions about the set up and what is in the area). The location is farm-like but so, so tidy and pristine. I like being alone in the wild, and we got that feel BUT they provided us a perfectly level location for our tent, running well water on site, a place to even plug-in for electricity (did not use it), we had cell service AND we had a separate but nearby tent to go to the bathroom (not a flushing toilet but a clean, well lit, level, private, ventilated location to do business), PLUS Dennis has a “shower” on site —— a private outdoor spot where you can stand and use a drip type well water bucket overhead. I’m not doing that description any justice - we used our own 5 gallon outdoor shower contraption in conjunction with it and all took ad hoc showers - it worked for us!! Little solar panel lights mark trip hazards, etc.....at night. Grill and fire pit and TONS of firewood on site. Listened to cows mooing in the distance! Scored homemade jelly from Melissa AND delectable mini cupcakes out of sheer luck! Brought our 1 and 4 year old and our family dog. Very safe feeling. Will be back FOR SURE!
