Where do I even begin with describing this place?! By far the most fun and exciting place to stay in Charleston. It is well worth the money to stay in one of two RVs (only a small number of this model was made) on site with beautiful views of marshland, a rope swing into a tide pool, open grassy areas for frisbee, and did I mention the dope RVs? 100/10 you should stay at the Charleston Fun Farm.
Had a blast last weekend at the Charleston Fun Farm! Hosts, Rob and Brook were extremely accommodating and their property is amazing. Living up to the moniker of "Fun Farm" this property is spread upon several acres covered in old growth, spanish moss covered trees, several of which have swurfer swings hanging from them. Being able to use the outdoor bathroom and shower also made for a very comfortable stay. The recommendations on restaurants and beach access were indispensable and saved us time, money and headaches. We stayed one night in the vintage R.V. and camped the next night. Both nights were great and the camp site was bucolic and very secluded. We truly felt at home in this awesome low country paradise and look forward to camping again here soon.
Beautiful campground, both the RVs and availble campsites are amazing. Rob and Brooke are great hosts! Short ride to Charleston and the beach. Would definitely recommend!
The Fun Farm is a big playground-just perfect! We had a great stay-great location, all the necessary amenities to be comfortable when traveling with kids, and helpful, warm hosts. Highly recommend!!
My husband and I wanted to do a little staycation camping trip for the weekend. The location and the vintage feel of the RV’s were absolutely perfect. We brought our dogs and enjoyed walking them around, built a fire, played on the swing set. Our hosts were helpful and showed great hospitality.
Charleston Fun Farm is awesome! This is a great place to spend a few days relaxing. Easy access to what Charleston has to offer while staying far enough away to avoid the crowds. There are comfortable amenities and a great view for campers. We would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great place to pitch a tent and soak in the Southern hospitality.
This place was truly amazing. We stayed in our sprinter van and had access to whole farm, including the sweetest outdoor shower and a great outdoor koi.
Owners were gone for the weekend so we didn’t meet them until two days later but they were super communicative and helpful.
This was our first Sprinter van empty nest spontaneous hipcamp experience. It’s going to be really hard to equal or top our experience at Charleston Fun Farm. PS only complaint, I couldn’t get my husband to leave our camping spot on the marsh to go to the public beach at Kiaeah...8 minutes away! We will be back!
