Great stay 🤙🏽
I had a great stay at Ashcott Farms. It's located only about 15-20 minutes off I95 and is easy to find, quiet, and safe. The campsite is well shaded, clean, and private. I could easily pull my (compact) car all the way up to the site, which was convenient. Host was easy to communicate with and available to help if needed.
Slice of heaven in the lowcountry
You can look forward to the warmest greeting when you stay at the Ashcott homestead- a gaggle of chickens, guineas, and pups will make you feel at home as they amble over to welcome you. It's impossible not to smile at their charming little group as they follow you! The property is beautiful and quite peaceful, I really enjoyed the pond and waterfowl. And the goats- adorable. Campsites are super clean and a quick walk from your vehicle. Ashley and her family were very gracious hosts who made me feel quite welcome, I look forward to returning when the weather cools.
Fun at the farm
Ashley was a super sweet and nice host. The campsite and farm were absolutely beautiful and the stars were amazing at night.. My children loved running around and playing with the goats and taking walks.
My boyfriend, dog and I made some last minute changes in our drive back to FL from VA and were looking for a place to stay along the way. I messaged Ashley Just a few hours before we were planning on being there. She warned us of the cold weather. There was a fire pit, which we didn’t use because we went to sleep as soon as we set up camp and tore down camp as soon as we woke up. We could see the side of the house and it sounded like her dogs could see us (or somebody’s dogs could), we felt bad because we arrived late and the dogs were barking however they did settle. I was worried the her chicken/guinea would get close enough to taunt my dog to chase them so I kept the dog on a long line however they kept their distance. Would stay again if passing by again.
