Warrego Warmblood Stud is an operational horse training property set on a secluded 60 acres just outside Woodford. There is a lovely private dam to camp beside or in amongst some beautiful trees with no one in ear shot, or you can camp in the empty paddock. Or Book a Horseback Forest Trail Ride . Campfires are permitted within local regulations. The campsites are dog friendly (on a lead). There are no amenities here, campers must BYO camping toilet. Allowed small fires and some timber available in the paddocks. Woodford is a little taste of country right on the city’s doorstep. An easy day trip from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, this quaint and quiet town is a perfect getaway destination with a little something for everyone. The Woodford region is steeped in history and retains much of its yesteryear charm. The historic pub still stands proudly on the main road through town, while quaint turn-of-the-century buildings house quirky shops and eateries.

Private Camp Surrounded by Nature

Robert was a wonderful host, very helpful and understanding! It was great to have a private area on the farm. WARNING TO FUTURE 2WD CAMPERS don’t park on the main road, we had 4 tires slashed during our stay (no fault to the host). It’s difficult to access campsites after rain.

Private Camp Surrounded by Nature

Just loved it!

From the time Robert welcomed us with a happy smile to the time we left we had an amazing time. Just loved this place! So private and beautiful. A beautiful large flat space for the van was very much appreciated. We will definitely be back. The visits from the horses were awesome!

Secluded Dam Side Camping

My friends and I had a fantastic weekend camping. Beautiful spot with cheeky horse visitors. We also enjoyed a 2 hour horse riding session in the round yard. Some of my friends were non horse people and a bit nervous but now love them! Great host and location.

Secluded Dam Side Camping

Isolated good sized area backing onto forest and overlooking dam. Mown grass. Friendly horses roam around. No bities except for a few horseflies. Track in is a bit soggy after a lot of rain. Host is friendly.
