70 acres of pristine countryside with 360 degree mountain views. The property has two dams and a natural spring for those needing a refreshing swim. We also have a dry creek bed meandering through a stunning granite gorge. Various sites to camp or unhitch a caravan. Our property is a sustainable lifestyle block. We have cows, pigs, chickens and goats. Feeding can be arrange for those wishing to do so. Dogs welcome but on a leash at all times. For those wanting to do a few day trips, Bundaberg is just over an hour away as well as it’s beautiful surrounding beaches. There’s also beautiful nearby country towns of Gayndah, Monto, Biggenden and Eidsvold. Venture out to the historic Boolboonda Tunnel or soak up the old world charm of our scenic town including the Museum. The Burnett River is half an hour down the road at Mingo Crossing. Here you can take a boat out or just swim and picnic by the river. We have only recently opened our property to the public and we hope to share our experience with you.

    Takamuna Front Paddock Gully Flat
    We loved camping at Takamuna! It is a truly beautiful spot. Deb and Chris were very helpful and generous. This camp is very good value for money and just a really peaceful, relaxing spot. We wish we could have had more time there.

    Perfect getaway
    Perfect quiet getaway,the hosts are so welcoming, upon arrival we were taken to our choice of campsite,free fresh eggs from their chickens,free firewood and use of their Kayak. Plenty of space for the kids to play and no other campers in sight.Will definitely be back 👍👍👍

    A great spot to camp and relax!
    Loved our two nights here, a very relaxing, scenic and stunning property to just stop and watch the world go by! Met the farm animals and enjoyed sharing a paddock with some friendly livestock too! The hosts were fantastic and we really would like to get back up for another trip again in the near future. Highly recommended.

    Peaceful and quiet.
    If your looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Chris and Deb are super friendly, helpful and even greeted us at the gate. Amazing bird life, dams and animals to visit. Mount Perry 2 minutes down the road.
