Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction campsite, to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with off-road tyres. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (weight and length restrictions apply) however caravans are not suitable due to the steep terrain. A portaloo is within walking distance to some campsites, otherwise your camp MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. .For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

First timer

Great site, amazing views and private spaces made it so much better. steep decent/ascent but manageable for a novice 4x4 driver that is prepared. We weren’t towing though. Owners are really helpful and happy to answer questions. Will stay again.

Maleny - Little Bunya

Absolutely loved the views here, besides the weather not being the best it was a great weekend away. The campsites are very well spaced apart so it doesn't feel like you are camping on-top of other people. Definitely would come here again.
