Lakeview is situated near the seaside village of Beachmere on just under 50 picturesque acres of Australian bushland, 45 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and 10 minutes off the Bruce Highway.
Experience the stunning vistas by the three billabongs while nestled in nature. Take nature walks, canoe and swim. Enjoy the flora, native animals and abundant birdlife or just relax by the campfire with the cooling sea breezes to add to the comfort and laid back lifestyle beside your own private open fire. You can have the best of both worlds, the bush on one hand and the bay on the other with Caboolture river boat ramp just 5 minutes away, giving you access to Moreton Bay. So why not kick back and relax away from the stress of city life.
We cater for groups or parties. If you are planning a party you will need to book the campground exclusively. This will ensure that you only have your group to worry about rather than potentially upsetting other guests and vice versa.

Nice place for a short stay. Flat grassy areas with nominated fire rings. The lake is a nice view morning and evening, although it is not somewhere you could swim in my opinion. Camps by the lake are semi close together but still comfortable. Ground is very soft for pegging down so be sure to pack hardy sand pegs! Other camper's were respectful and quiet. Did not see the owner at all. Instructions to find the camp are clear and accurate. There is a little dam up from the camp site that the kids loved, with a water slide and kayaks which was a great touch. Playgroup was also a hit and maintained well. For a cruisy 40min drive from home we will definitely be back (even though we got stuck in the awful storm on Saturday). Thanks for having us !

Not very good for swimming but sites are large and spaced out. The best part is we can take our fur babies and they love it.

Very happy with our weekend at Shane’s, we came a number of years ago and the sites are marked out better now. It was hot, but a beautiful breeze and shade from the trees helped out with that! Nice location for checking out the local area, great food at the pub down the road too!
Great place for a young family to go camping! We stayed at area 5 and it was very spacious. We had a great time.
Beautiful and peaceful spot nice flat grass well maintained property close to shops and beach
A majestic spot to go and relax in front of a fire with a beautiful sunset over the lake.
