4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Family Bush Cabin

Paradise at Amamoor.

Absolutely loved staying in the cabin. It was peaceful and quiet. Such a beautiful spot and very accomodating host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Sunny Hill

Additional Campers Different Nights

Doesn't get much better.

Love this place. Have been coming since 2019. The only problem is more people are finding out aboht it. He he. Definitely 4x4 and off road camper.

Family Bush Cabin

Peaceful retreat

This place is truely an amazing hidden gem we stayed in the family cabin due to possible bad weather and it was amazing owners go above and beyond lovely surrounds and so relaxing we will be back it was just what our family needed

Adventure Camping

This experience was absolutely amazing. I hiked across the valley and saw some amazing plants and wildlife along the way. Loved every second of the pristine view of the valley from my eventual ridgetop camp. I will absolutely come here again. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves 4WDing, hiking, bushwalks and bushcraft. Just be aware, don't trust Maps to get you there, follow the written instructions that Anita sends you, they're a lifesaver.

Hideaway Flats

Our experience with this property was not great upon driving all the way out there we were met with an over grown unmaintained camping area with only a small section of grass mowed around a fire area hardly even big enough for a tent the rest of the grass was almost a foot hight through out the whole camp area. Having our 10 month old baby with us this was obviously unacceptable. Although the owners of the property were reasonable and gave us a refund however was not a full refund. I felt as tho this property was largely false advertised as it looked nothing like the photos advertised. The property has many good reviews, maybe we just went out at a bad time but a property used as a camp ground needs regular maintenance all year round unfortunately that just isn't the case. Luckily we were able to find a fantastic camp ground an hour away that was not in hipcamp.
