We have a beautiful 600 acre cattle property with plenty of room to spread out where other campers are nowhere in sight. Here you will find that the serenity meets the bush. We have beautiful flat grassy sites situated on Gootchie Creek, and around our very large spring fed billabongs that never dry up. Come and enjoy the green flat grassy sites along the creek, you may even see the resident platypus. Enjoy some wildlife watching and escape from the city. Bring your hammock and gaze at cloud shapes. Camp fires permitted and bring along your pet too. We are located 45kms north of Gympie. In town you will find all the shops, fuel and supplies for your camping trip. A dump point has now been installed on our property for your convenience.

Gootchie Creek Escape

Our stay was mad very easy by Nikki. directions to get there were clear and once we arrived the abundance of areas to choose for our site was fabulous. We picked a spot at Matildas Corner and the tranquility of the creek and surrounds was magnificent. We will definitely be booking for another visit.

Went to Gootchie Creek for a new van reccy and only 15klms from home. What a beautiful place to go and kick back and do nothing. Being so close to home we will definitely be back.

Absolutely lovely property. The only complaint I have is other people playing music until 3am. Will visit again - with ear plugs!!

Gootchie Creek Escape

Despite the weather the location was amazing! Camped in front of the billabong. Amenities block was in good and clean condition. Green pastures with cows roaming freely - amazing ambience!
