Our second hipcamp adventure was at Suzanne and Dales and it did not disappoint. The site was well maintained with plenty of level or near level locations to set up. The outdoor shower was better than many indoor ones we have used and the flushing toilet a must for little ones. The camp kitchen provided a nice social centre with camp fire on a huge piece of sandstone. The track in had plenty of little creek crossings for exploring. Plenty of wild life and the resident dogs were awesome too. Suzanne and Dale met us for a drink on the first evening which was nice. Not a site for those that want reliable phone or data service but for us, that was part of the beauty of it.

Great place for peace and quiet - clean amenities, friendly hosts and superb fire pit and camp kitchen. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a place to just “be”. Fantastic that only 2 camp spots so guaranteed seclusion. Family of 4 with a 12 & 10yr old.

Farmland Valley
A welcoming, safe place with warm, generous owners. We loved the camp kitchen (hot water, power, table, bbq etc), the fire pit, the warm outdoor shower and the friendly dogs who entertained us. The shower and toilet are attached to the owner’s home which was fine given how clean they were. We enjoyed walking up to sunset drinks for the view, and riding our bikes through the creek crossings. A really lovely place to enjoy peaceful camping.

Suzanne and Dale have set up the camp area so wonderfully to make camping super comfortable. Running water, kitchen equipment, bbq, fire pit, toilet and hot water outdoor shower, shelter, surrounded by beautiful green views. A comfortable short walk up the hill for even more views. Suzanne is incredibly friendly, helpful and generous, and the two friendly dogs were absolute bonuses. Thank you and I'll be back again and again!

Outstanding place to stay and only 45 minutes from home. Suzanne and Dale have thought of everything with a great camp kitchen, outdoor shower with hot water and very clean toilet. Toaster, kettle, bbq and sink all there plus big camp fire. Only 2 camp sites at a time so never busy - you feel like you have the place to yourself. Dale and Suzanne took us in the 4wd to a viewing platform up the hill to watch the sunset down the valley (magic). Great hosts, great place.

I was looking to get away for a few days and had a fantastic stay at Farmland Valley.
Excellent facilities including a toilet, outdoor shower and great sized outdoor kitchen.
The outdoor fireplace was great and I spent a lot of time gazing into the fire and clearing my mind. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This was a slice of heaven. Massive are to camp on surrounding the house. Great outdoor kitchen and the shower is a must! Great open fire. Beautiful surrounding countryside and the little walk up to the deck for sunset is so worth it. Suzanne made us feel so comfortable and at home. A really relaxing quiet stay

Lovely views everywhere. Very quite and nice place with lots of birds to watch. The sunset drink deck was an added attraction. Darel and Suz are such lovely hosts that they even allowed us to use their mountain bikes. The highlight was the outdoor shower allowing you to take a hot shower under the stars. Very clean toilet and a pretty good camp kitchen with all essentials. We enjoyed every moment and would certainly come back. Have to mention the two very friendly dogs to complete the review. Overall great place.

Farmland Valley
Suzanne and Dale's property was looking very green after the rain for our visit. It's prettily situated, very peaceful and the facilities met our group of four’s needs. Good outdoor camp kitchen, a great open-hearth fire in the evenings as well as a shower with an outlook onto the property . We set up our tents on level green lawn in the shade of a magnificent, towering native fig tree.
Easy drive for a 1/2 day trip to nearby Glen Rock State Forest Park. Our hosts made us welcome, and joined us for a chat by the fire one evening.
O yes let us not forget the two friendly dogs who often wandered over for a hello.

Farmland was indeed a majical place to stay. Situated in a valley with hills surrounding it was peaceful and tranquil - we stayed there for 4 nights and it was idylic!. A spacious outdoor campkitchen; blazing fire stared by Dale; a quaint outdoor shower with stunning views and the pice de resistance......the sunset drinks deck where a ten minute walk leads you to a sheltered deck with comfotable reclining chairs and a view of the far off valley. We even had a loan of Suzanne and Dale's mountain bikes to check out the area. The highest of recommendations.

Our stay at Suzanne and Dale's place was (unfortunately brief) but absolutely wonderful! It was relaxing and we enjoyed the quiet of not having other campers up till all hours of the night, in fact we were the only ones there, which we loved. This little piece of paradise is truly beautiful for those seeking a weekend getaway and next time we will be bringing our children. The short walk up to the drinks deck is worth it for the view. Dale and Suzanne were lovely, friendly hosts and very accommodating, Dale even pulled out some mountains bikes for us to go riding. Cannot recommend this place and the hosts high enough!

We had a fantastic stay at Suzanne and Dales, the most beautiful location for camping with excellent facilities including a very stylish toilet, perfect outdoor shower and great sized outdoor kitchen with a range of utensils for cooking including toaster, kettle, cutlery and tea towels. The outdoor fireplace was gorgeous too and we enjoyed a few drinks around the fire together with Suzanne and Dale which made our trip most memorable. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you both very much!

A total hidden gem, the hosts are so lovely and welcoming and the valley is picturesque and serene - no mobile service (or very minimal) lots of bird life and the camp kitchen, outdoor shower are fabulous.
We enjoyed a great stay with our toddler

The Picturesque Farmland within a Valley with great facilities. It was such a wonderful stay for us , Suzanne and Dale are very welcoming . The outdoor hot shower is such a cool thing. We enjoyed the views , wild life , the lovely dogs. Our daughter had such a great time roasting marshmallows @camp kitchen fire place. Lovely sunset overlooking the valley @hilltop shed, accessible by short walk or drive. Overall its a day well spent. We will definitely coming back!

Dale and Suzanne were fantastic hosts and their facilities are brilliant. We were given a tour, and Dale even drove me up to the drinks desk up the mountain. The view was out of this world. The brand new camp kitchen was a bonus, and was well equipped, with a communal fireplace. The outdoor (hot) shower was great... and the dogs were friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

My family and I had a lovely camping trip to Suz & Dale's farm. So much we liked about there property... it's so quiet, the valley surrounds were beautiful, we saw losts of wildlife (a bilby, owl, wallabies, eagles, etc.), there's only two campsites so it's very quiet, also loved having a private outdoor shower under the stars, having campfire, star gazing, etc... Finally Suz & Dale's are so welcoming & friendly hosts!

Dale and Suzanne have created a wonderful space for campers where they have thought of everything. Facilities were clean and easy. They were super friendly and accommodating and the space itself was serene and beautiful. We’ll definitely be back!
