Enjoy a convenient and relaxing base to discover the best of Hervey Bay at our 150-acre cattle grazing farm located just 3km outside of town, with plenty of space for campers. To access the farm, turn right off the Maryborough Highway into Chapel Rd, then turn right at the picnic table beside the bikeway, and do not drive over the cattle grid. The entrance is right beside the grid with reflectors on each post. If you're having trouble finding the entrance, please call Ray at 0459247041 or Judy at 0459247042. We offer numerous camping sites on cleared land lined by trees, near to our gully and seasonal creek. Each site is private and offers plenty of space. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! Kids under 5 stay free and don't need to be included in the booking group count. Check-in is welcome after 9 am and you can depart anytime.

This spot is super convenient to Hervey Bay and very safe. Although there is a very busy road close by it didn’t bother us at all. Only downside is the price. Way too expensive for what it is. $15 would be reasonable, maybe $20 tops.

"Karen" staying there gets a lot of exercise jumping to conclusions. It appears that she's permanent at the powered sites. It's just a shame she's not very friendly. We're inclined to want to avoid her completely in future.

Great location close to the bay, less than a 10 minute drive to the waterand very affordable. Sites where large and if you get a site close to the back treeline you can easily make it private. We stayed 6 nights off grid and really enjoyed the central location

Nice Spot. Near the Main Rd from Maryborough to Hervey Bay. Ask if there will be any Cows in the holding yard while you are there Because they moo VERY Loudly ALL Night

Stayed in our 21 foot caravan for what ended up being a week here. Close to Hervey Bay without getting the crazy prices for a caravan park. Cafe a few hundred metres from camp was a good spot for the morning coffee. Rail trail super handy aswell for a walk or a ride if you have bikes. Will stay here for sure when we come back.

Good spot for a night or two. It’s one large paddock, plenty of spots to choose from. Close to Hervey Bay, a bit of road noise but nothing that kept us awake. Cafe in walking distance.

Nice almost flat paddock , views of the farm, not far from town. Little bit of road noise but not too bad. Grass was looked after, one other camper there that seemed to be a permanent, but he was polite and no trouble.

Good location and good value for money. Nice grassy area that’s mowed and maintained but too close to main road into Hervey Bay for us. Quite noisy at night on some days, especially Saturday night. May not worry a lot of people but need to be aware that this is the case.

We had a great experience at this Hipcamp site in Hervey Bay. It was easy to find, and the host asked us to call for directions, which were clear and helpful. The property felt secure, which gave us peace of mind during our stay. A simple, no-fuss stop with a good atmosphere – would definitely stay again!

Great host. Not a great location for the powered sites. Almost on the highway. Bad on a Friday night as you hear cars all evening. Slowed down about 1am and then started up around 4. The view we had was great. If they could get powered sites farther in to the paddock, would be great. Perfect spot for the rail trail

Lovely hosts, but the allocated land was less than desirable. Very overgrown, not well maintained, and not far from the main highway (lots of road noise). Not bad for a quick overnight pit stop, but the price is steep considering.

It is too close to the busy Maryborough-Hervey Bay road. Hence, traffic noise throughout the day. If you are preppy to suffer that then OK but it is not for me. We moved after one night even though we had paid for 4 nights .

Overall it was pretty decent. It’s very close to the main road which we didn’t quite realise and when we arrive the paddock had alot of dog poo everywhere but we think this was due to the other people staying here with a dog. Luckily there was a shovel. Once we got past this we enjoyed our stay. Cycle lane is fantastic and good spot to day trip to K’gari

Small but neat pice of well mown grass right next to the Maryborough- Hervey Bay rail trail - so great if you are into cycling we were the only ones here for most of the time but would be awfully crowded if all the sites were taken up. Close to town and easy shopping close by pricing is half what you would be paying in the crowded van parks in town - win win - allowed a fire as well !!
