Too busy for us.
Unfortunately this site was packed with campers, unlike described as 14 other campers, we turned up to about 50 other campers. There is good access the to river with about 30m frontage for fishing or small boat launching. There was a bar operating and a band playing into the evening. This camp is good if you don't mind camping with others along with band entertainment on a weekend. If you are seeking serenity and privacy this is not the place.

This was overpriced for what it was - $94 / night for a family of 4. It has toilets & they were clean, but that's not worth the price we paid. We stayed Easter weekend, so it's understandable that it was busy, however we also got unlucky with site placement and ended up very close to the bar / stage area, which made it really hard with the kids - too many drunk people yelling and swearing until late. The sites that are the furthest away, when you drive in you keep going past a row of trees and down near the mangroves would have been heaps better (but still not worth $94/ night). The river was nice out on the boat, but not good for swimming / fishing on the banks next to the campground. Also, bring insect repellent

By far one of the best bush camps I have ever stayed at. The grounds were beautiful, all amenities were very well maintained. Music were great. Danny was an amazing host. Worked his bum off all weekend. And the crabs we caught were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Chilled weekend away
If you are used to camping, I would suggest the is place for sure! We had a boat so made the days a bit more exciting. Although, if you just want a quick trip away it is also good for that! Owner is great and accomodating, would stay here again. Thanks Danny
