Blue's Rest is a working farm. This campsite is at the base of a mountain which is 180 metres high and forms the rear boundary of the property. Blue's Rest offers beautiful campsites besides the running creek where you can enjoy the sounds of water babbling through the rocks in one of the prettiest spots you will find. Our Creek Gully Campsite is a large flat campsite next to a small rocky creek which has trickling water. The site looks across the creek and through to the mountain which sometimes has cloud on the top of it. You can drive in with a large van without having to reverse. The campsite is on an acre of flat land which you can use. This is a solo campsite and the nearest thing is the farm shed approximately 200 metres away. Our Creekside Campsites allows you to choose your own site between the trees and enjoy the serenity of the property. For those who love to swim, the campsites have access to a deep water hole approximately 200 metres downstream on the property. The property is just over an hour from the Lamington National Park where you can enjoy some lovely walks, spot some wildlife or enjoy a picnic in nature. There are plenty of other National Parks and beautiful nature areas to explore in the nearby area. Campers must be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste with them on departure. Dogs kept on a leash are welcome (1 per site and provided you clean up any droppings) and campfires are permitted outside of restrictions. Note: when you arrive, please do not go through the second gateway, it is the neighbour's property and is out of bounds.

Very private site with relaxing direct access to water. Western aspect maybe hot in summer but would expect spectacular in winter. Fall asleep to the sound of water. Found the cows needed a bit of encouragement to clear our access.

Beautiful spot.

Wow!! What a perfect spot! A mountain view, creekview and the friendliest cows that came to say hello. One of our favourite spots by far. Easy driveway and super private to the second camp spot. We will be back!

Day Creek Site

Would have been nice to be met by the host. The site was not cleared prior to our visit, we had so much cow poo on the site, took us hours to clean it up and cover with grass. With all the poo around it brought a lot of fly. The creek was a trickle but the description says it’s a beautiful running creek. This was the case at the other site which was near the road, that site was cordoned off so no cows could enter. Very disappointing ! Especially since we paid a hefty price.
