Wonderful spot to get away. We stayed in the upper spot and it was lovely. Campfires and stars are the best entertainment on a fall weekend. Didn’t have any trouble finding the site. Sites are scattered and not too close together. We definitely will go back.
10 out of 10!
We just stayed here for a few nights of winter camping and were very happy with our stay. The directions to the sites were very accurate, everything including the property as a whole was clean and well kept. I highly recommend this property and plan on staying again in the future!
I was thrilled to find this well kept campground with beautiful scenery and pond with wildlife and hiking! Jonathan was a gracious host in making sure all questions were answered and done so in a timely manner. I enjoyed my stay and will be recommending this campground to friends and family!
Great stay on the pond!
We had a great two night stay at The Pond! There are lots of great tent sites either around the pond or up by the permanent bell tent that the owner keeps on the property. Our pups had a great time exploring. We pushed our trip into the work week because of the weather, and were woken up by some logging (chain saws, trucks, etc.) at the property next door, but that likely wouldn't be a problem during the weekend. There were a couple of kids that walked through our campsite hunting on our last day there, but otherwise it was a huge place and very private for a small or large group. John was an excellent communicator and gave a lot of great advice about camping in colder weather.
Great relaxing getaway
Johnathan was very friendly, he was at the property when we arrived. We spoke for a few minutes and he gave us the lay of the land.
We had a great time. Kids went swimming in the pond, we caught a few bass and enjoyed exploring up and down the small stream.
Relaxing at the pond
The site was beautiful and was everything we had hoped for. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend a nice escape from city life. Jonathan has done a wander full job with the property, it was clean and well maintained. We will definitely be planning another stay in the future.
