Want to experience camping in a tent suspended from the trees over a babbling brook on an off-grid, solar-powered homestead? When you camp with us, you'll fall asleep to the sound of water gurgling over rocks below you, and wake to a view of the pond with birds singing in the tree tops overhead. Bring your fishing pole and cast a line in the pond, take a stroll of the garden and orchard, or walk the 1-kilometer mowed loop around the edge of the old field.
We live here in a little solar-powered cabin on our 100-acre property that we affectionately call "Love Farm" (back in the day, it used to be a working ranch). At your tent, you'll be surrounded by woods and the pond, and our cabin is not within view. However, we are usually nearby if you need anything or want to arrange a tour of the property. We are accessed by a one-lane gravel driveway, and our nearest neighbor is a mile away. There is no light pollution out here, so if you take a night walk to the top of the knoll in the orchard on a starry night, it is a beautiful thing. If you want to simply enjoy peace, quiet and nature, this is your place.
